AnI couldn’t be more excited to announce my nomination for my first blogging award after only a few months of starting this journey. I want to thank Christina with “The Blog for Teachers, Readers, and Life” for nominating me for this very special award. I couldn’t have expected how much fun this would be but also the community of fellow blogging I’ve grown to know and lean on.
I especially like Christina’s blog for passion for teaching others. As a mom of young boys her ideas in teaching, learning and holiday event ideas are great reads and I would highly recommend you check it out.
She recently wrote a blog of top 10 family friendly Halloween Movies; a few great classics the whole family will love, I know my boys will. Christina shares her passion of teaching and learning and puts its into real life. Her years of experience as a teacher, professor and Academic Librarian gives her blog years of experience in education.

My Blog Recommendation
I wanted to share another parenting blog that I’d highly recommend you read as a parent, more so as a mom. Since starting my blog it’s been great to connect with other parents and other moms who also share the same experience as me. Isn’t that why we scoured the web for great blogs. A lot of moms I know, local go to mommy and I groups or weekly mom meetings. I think that’s great, but for me personally it requires a lot more time, I find some of where I learned the most about parenting are from online groups. Just a matter of preference.
Authentically Abby http://www.abbymhillary.wixsite.com is a great blog for any mom. What I love most about Abby’s blog is how real and honest she is as a mom. I recently read her blog on Chasing Super-Mom Status and why I need to Aim for real mom status Instead. I loved this message, I could relate so much to her experience and it was a great way to connect. She gives her blog meaning and you can see that in her writing and I love reading it.
She also recently wrote a post on Why I Don’t Read Parenting Books this again I can totally connect with. She explains her love of reading where I myself am not a book reader. I agree and she did too how much more fun it is to read other mommy blogs or parenting blogs. I’m not saying Parenting books aren’t so great, just not for me.
Again, Abby and have a lot in common, so check out her blog. She has a lot of relatable experience and I’d highly recommend it.
